The Ledger® Live App is the official companion application for Ledger® hardware wallets. It allows you to manage cryptocurrencies, check balances, send and receive transactions, stake assets, and connect with exchanges. Unlike traditional wallets, Ledger® Live integrates directly with your Ledger® hardware device, keeping your private keys offline and secure.
You can download Ledger® Live safely from the official Ledger® website. It is available for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android, making it accessible for all device types.
Accessing your Ledger® account requires connecting your hardware device through the Ledger.com Login portal or via the Ledger® Live App. There is no password-only login option—security is based on your PIN, recovery phrase, and optional two-factor authentication.
Ledger® Live also supports integration with exchanges, often referred to as Ledger® Exchange, to allow direct trading within the app interface without compromising wallet security.
If you are unable to log in, check your PIN and confirm your recovery phrase. Outdated Ledger® Live versions may also prevent login, so update the app regularly.
If login attempts repeatedly fail, ensure that your device is connected correctly and that the USB cable is functional. Restart both the Ledger® device and the app.
This error is often related to USB connectivity, outdated drivers, or blocked permissions. Try another port, update your firmware, or check your antivirus settings.
If the Ledger® Live App crashes or fails to load, uninstall and reinstall it, clear cached data, or use a different device. Detailed instructions are available at the Ledger® Help Center.
This occurs when firmware is outdated or the recovery phrase does not match. Updating to the latest version of Ledger® Live usually resolves this issue.
Transactions may decline if there are insufficient funds, wrong fee settings, or incomplete synchronization. Review your network fees and resync your account.
If you lose access, you can recover your account using the 24-word recovery phrase. For two-factor authentication issues, follow the official Ledger® 2FA reset guide.
